Louise Wiley
Louise Wiley grew up on Long Island, New York, and began her career as an artist after her studies at SUNY, Stony Brook College of Arts and Sciences and Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. She has also attended workshops in New York, France and New Mexico. Her paintings have been shown in galleries on Long Island, Manhattan, Connecticut and Florida. In addition, her work may be found in private collections.
Louise began sculpting after moving to Connecticut and attending the Lyme Academy of Fine Art and attending workshops with Paul Lucchasi and Fred Bronstein in Pietrasanta, Italy. After discovering that her true passion as an artist is in sculpture, she began devoting all her time to this art form. Her works are produced in limited editions from bronze, terra-cotta, paper clay, stone and glass. An award winning artist, she sells and exhibits widely. Louise maintains a studio in Old Saybrook, CT.
